Post de prueba para textos y tal

Today we’ve just published our newly updated Roadmap of upcoming and completed features that we will constantly be adding to. You can find the Roadmap at virb.com/roadmap and stay up to date with our progress.

Below are some of our newest upgrades and features that we wanted to explain with a little more detail.

Individual Page Support for Sidebar Widgets

Now, you can decide on which page(s) a sidebar widget shows up on your site. It’s now possible to show the widget on all pages of your site or just a specific one. You can even hide the Title of the widget if you wish. Just click to edit any of your widgets in the Sidebar area on the right side to see these new options.

Image Collection Hyperlinks

Once you’ve uploaded images to a collection, you can link it to an external website by editing the image. Examples of this might be clicking on a photo to take the viewer to a hi-res version you have posted to Flickr or a magazine cover image that you want to link to the magazine’s website.

Lightbox Slideshow View for Collections

Another new feature on Collection pages allows you to enable lightbox view for slideshows. You’ll see this option when editing a Collection over on the right in the Display Format box. Your site visitors will be able to activate it by clicking on an image. They can even use the left and right arrow keys to go through the photos and the escape key to close the full screen mode.

New Index Page Thumbnail Sizes

Index page thumbnails only came in one size. Now you can choose from 3 different sizes—square, rectangle or widescreen—to get that extra bit of customization. Here’s an example of an Index page that shows music releases with the “square” option chosen to better represent the pages it is linking to
